Vanilla is based in north Wales, and all of my unique pieces are handmade from Polymer Clay in my home based studio.
I blend many of my own clay colours, design my own patterns and create each piece, step by step, as a one-off in quirky shapes and styles, finished on leather cord.

What's New?
It was a busy 2025 with lots of Artisan Markets, events and online sales. I was thrilled to start supplying new shops in the local area - The Twisted Tree in Prestatyn and Fancy That in Rhos on Sea. Now its the start of 2026 and I am getting ready for a new season after upgrading my stall image!

I am once more exhibiting at the Llandudno Gift Fair in the St George Hotel Llandudno with a few new designs and new display.

Tell me about the products!
Polymer clay is pliable until baked at low temperatures, when the clay cures and becomes solid. It has a lovely velvety texture but is lightweight. This makes it ideal to make beads and jewellery with. I finish my pendants and necklaces on leather cord, pendants have a nickel free clasp or a bead and loop fastener. Bead necklaces have a leather sliding knot to give you flexibility of length. Earrings are set on a sterling silver earwire or, if stud, on surgical steel posts.

I try to keep a full diary of events and visit lots of local events and markets across north Wales. Please check my Facebook page for the most up to date information.
From Easter (March 2026) you will always find me at the Beaumaris Artisan Market, David Hughes Community Centre, Rating Row, Beaumaris every weekend (usually every Sunday). I also attend the Rhuddlan Artisans Fair every 4th Saturday each month, Makers Market at Y Shed in Meliden the last Friday each month, and occasionally Llanfairfechan Artisans Market every 3rd Sunday, plus lots of other events featured on my Facebook page.

Bespoke Designs
I often get asked to make specific designs or colour combinations for my customers. I am always happy to do this, as long as I have a nice clear photograph of the clothing they want to match. All of my pieces are one off designs, but I can remake (although they won't be exact replicas) or make in different colours, sizes or shapes - whatever you would like. Just drop me a message for information.

My earring designs are always unique, they can be discs, spheres, tubes, teardrops, mixed shapes and my studs come in a variety of sizes and shapes or can be custom made just for you!
Drop Earrings
Drop earrings are finished on sterling silver ear hooks and come in a wide range of colour combinations.
Stud Earrings
Stud earrings are set on surgical steel posts with butterfly fasteners, and come in all kinds of shapes and sizes.

Unusual, patterned pendants finished on leather cord.
Disc Pendants

Gorgeous colours and lightweight to wear, these disc shape pendants are finished on leather cord with a matching bead and loop fastener, and measure 2-4".
Long Bead Pendant

Striking handmade beads with a metal pendant shape finished on waxed cotton or leather cord and measuring approx 28". A great statement piece.
Heart Pendants

Beautiful colour combinations and sitting on leather cord, finished with metals beads. These pendants are available in various colourways and measure approx 1-2" on 16-18" cord.

Measuring about 4-5cms these lovely heart brooches look great on a collar, jacket or hat! I make them in a vast range of colourways, or can make to order in your favourite colours.

Fun character shapes make a great gift at Christmas and these designs are available seasonally or to order.
Bead Designs
All individual and in beautiful colour combinations and shapes, these designs are comfortable to wear, with no metal fasteners to give you flexibility to wear long or shorter. They can be made in any colourway to order, or if you like a particular design shown here then I can make a similar piece for you.
